I realized today that in order for you to really make something happen, you need to have discipline not just hard work. We know that hard work really pays off, but if you don’t have discipline, your efforts are all wasted.
I remember the time that I went to gym 4 times a week. I did it for almost 1 year. Along with it, I followed also a certain diet meal. It worked so much that my weight went down from 78kg to 61kg. I had a strong and fit body 3 years ago. I had it not because I work hard. I had it because I was able to control myself and train my mind of what to do and what I should not do.
That was before. Now, it is very different. It came to my mind that discipline is really the key to your success. Hard work comes with discipline. This is your ability to resist any forces/temptation/circumstances that hinder you to make things come true. Discipline makes you move and do something that is necessary. I wish I could still wake up that kind of discipline that I had before. I really want to bring back my healthy and fit body.
