How to Effectively Manage Pharmaceutical Service in a Hospital

1. The chief pharmacist must be familiar with the healthcare system. he or she must be responsible for all pharmaceutical service related to patient care.

2. Pharmacy personnel such as pharmacists, clerks, aides,etc. must be familiar with the organization of a hospital. They must be analyzable and interpret prescribing trends & economic impact of new drug development. they must also maintain an adequate system of stock and inventory control.

3. Pharmacy activities must be coordinated with other services such as medical and nursing service.
