Anyway, ALS stands for Alternative Learning System. It is is a parallel learning system that provides a viable alternative to the existing formal education instruction. It encompasses both the non-formal and formal sources of knowledge and skills.

When we think of ALS, we shoudn't think out of school youth alone. This is also includes students who have physical disability.
