Hello fellow professionals. I am an OFW nurse here in Qatar. I just want to share to you how I was able to renew my PRC online with the help of my brother in the Philippines.
I will make this simple and easy to follow.
First, you need to create an online account in PRC. You can find it here.
Second, once your done with the registration, complete the details of your profile. These includes your school and its address. Your undergraduate degree and the essentials information about your parents. Additionally, they will ask you the date of your graduation and your PRC license number.
Third, if you are able to finish supplying the necessary details. Upload a 2×2 picture in your account. Remember that they will only accept a white background photo, no eye glasses present and ears are not covered.
Fourth, click apply for transaction in the right side bar of your profile. A pop up will appear. Then, from the list of all available transactions, choose renewal. You’ll need to select your profession and input your PRC license number.
Fifth, in the renewal page, select the location where you want to renew your license. You need to make sure it is near in your place. Then, upon selecting it, you will see if there is an available schedule. You are lucky if there is an open slot. However, most of the time there isn’t. So may advise is to open your account every now and then.
Sixth, if you are able to book a slot for renewal. You can pay it directly there through PayMaya checkout. The amount is usually 450php.
Note: If you are outside of the country, you can ask an authorized person to process your renewal on the day of your chosen schedule. Remember this, ask a PRC licensed holder as well to process your renewal. It is much easier and less hassle. In my case, I ask my brother, a licensed teacher, to do it for me.
You just need to send the signed copy of your PRC renewal form. Print it, sign it, then scan it. Don’t forget your authorized letter and your scanned ids.
That’s it. You are now able to renew your PRC ID. If you have questions regarding your renewal. Feel free to ask here. I am willing to answer you base in my experiences. Thank you so much.
